The group is a sequenced 4-session program. Attendance at all sessions is important and registration is required. There is no fee.

Support Group for Caregivers of Family Members Suffering Memory Loss

  • Every other Friday

  • 10:30am-Noon

  • At the Big Canoe Chapel

This is for those caring for someone suffering from dementia (Alzheimer’s Disease, Lewy Body Dementia, Vascular Dementia, any form of dementia).

Caregiving in general can be a very exhausting, frustrating experience. And when you add the lack of support available for people taking care of someone with dementia, life can become very lonely and frightening. Caregivers of people suffering from dementia often find they have nobody to talk to because nobody understands. In this group, the other members of the group are going through something very similar and DO understand what you’re feeling and experiencing on a daily basis.

For more information, please contact the facilitator, Lori Levey, at lclevey1@gmail.com.
